This book is meant to be used. When we have beautiful things made by hand, we are more likely to use them in a meaningful way.  I begin by hand-tearing soft white, unlined, acid-free, 80# text paper that is ideal for drawing and writing with pen or pencil. The exposed spine stitching allows the book to lay flat when it is open, and because this book is so large I reinforced the hinge area of the spine.

Each book is covered with organic cotton/hemp fabric that is plant-dyed in small batches. There are stitched patches on both sides of each book, covering small imperfections in the fabric.

Available in three colors: sage green (dyed with pomegranate and iron), lavender/gray (dyed with wattle and iron), and yellow (dyed with pomegranate and marigold). Each book contains 116 pages and measures 9.5 x 12.5".
