We pride ourselves on using up every scrap of plant-dyed fabric at Kata Golda. This decorative silk ribbon is a perfect expression of that commitment.  A hand-torn strand of terracotta silk (width varies between 3/8" - 1/2") that has been hand-dyed with madder root is embellished on both sides with thread bundles and tassels, stitching, antique metal sequins, bursts of gold thread, and bits of plant-dyed linen and silk.  Each 48” ribbon is one-of-a-kind and is wrapped around a cardboard girl cutout.
