My dearest friend, Shawn, is a true artisan. She is a professional upholsterer who is now making bags, purses, and pillows from the hundreds of fabrics, remnants, and upholstery samples that have made their way into her studio in Stillwater, MN over the years. She gifted me a bag a while back and it is the sturdiest, most functional, well-loved project bag I have ever used. I have been asked time and time again by friends where they can find one. Shawn started off making these bags by special request only, but with a little nudging she has expanded her business and is selling her one-of-a-kind creations on her website. Because I am such a huge fan, I am offering them here as well.

This bag is perfect for knitting/stitching projects, as a purse, a carry-on, and a catch-all tote. It has enough structure to sit upright, but just the right amount of slouch to not be stiff. 

Each bag measures 10 x 10 x 10 and has one lined interior zipper pocket and one leather patch pocket. The leather straps measure 19". Exterior fabric design and content and bag closure varies on each bag.
