Everything is better with pockets! I always have a needle book nearby. I added a pocket to this design, so now I have space for a pair of small snips and some bundles of thread. In my knitting bag, I tuck stitch markers and needle tips into the pocket.

The book measures 2.75 x 3.75" and is secured with a 13.5" strand plant-dyed hand torn cotton poplin ribbon. The interior is lined with off-white wool felt and there is a single plant-dyed wool felt 'page.' The needle book comes with 3 small straight pins and 1 sewing needle.

All of the felt, fabric, and ribbon was dyed in my home dye studio with plants that I harvested from my garden. I have been having so much fun experimenting with color and watching the magic unfold.
