sewing tutorial: fair isle sweater ornaments
$ 0.00
My mother is an avid knitter and she has knit me countless beautiful sweaters. I have dreams of knitting, but I always end up with a needle and thread in hand. These tiny wool felt fair isle sweater ornaments are an ode to the lovingly stitched knitwear from my mom, in my medium. Make a matching set in all three sizes or play with colors and patterns. Hang them on the tree or make a little bunting. They are a sweet gift for a knitter (or a cozy sweater lover) in your life.
If you would like to make sweater ornaments with the same tea-dyed wool felt and lace weight silk/mohair yarn that I used, you can find a materials bundle HERE. (note, this is materials only - the free tutorial is not printed in the bundle). It includes enough felt, yarn, and embroidery floss to make 3 sweater ornaments (small, medium, and large).
There are two ways to access the pattern: you can add it to your shopping cart, and once you complete the check-out process (no credit card required) the tutorial will automatically be emailed to you. OR you can click the image below to view and/or download the PDF file straight from this page.
