very special gifts for knitters & stitchers December 06 2025

mom is a knitter and i am a stitcher.
knitting has surrounded me for my entire life. my mom and grandma have knit me and my daughter over 100 sweaters, a small sampling is above. i have observed and asked questions of knitters over the years about which essentials they keep in their project bags. i created a special knitter’s pocket for my mom and have now made a full collection for my shop. this is such a lovely gift for any aspiring or accomplished knitter in your life. are you shopping for a stitcher? scroll down to see the imperfect patchwork and little stitching kit which is a satisfying mix of inspiring materials, ideas, and useful tools. my homegrown knowledge from years of stitching is packaged up inside this kit.

*the last day for holiday orders is saturday, december 13*
please order early! many things will sell out.

the knitter’s pocket holds all of your essentials in one tidy package.
the gusseted, envelope style pocket wraps closed–
meaning no zippers to snag your yarn. a stitch holder and tapestry needle are attached inside to a strand of plant-dyed ribbon, and the felt patch inside the top flap keeps sharp needles secure. the plant-dyed organic cotton/hemp pouch is embellished with a hand stitched botanical design and measures 7 x 4” with a 1” deep gusset and a 24” stitched cotton twill wrap closure. the “complete set” knitter’s pocket is filled with matching notions covered with plant-dyed wool felt: a scissor slip with scissors, a tape measure, and a notions tin. a raw edge linen pocket notebook is also included for taking notes on your projects.

the empty pockets and all notions are also available individually. you can purchase single items or build your own complete knitter’s pocket with your favorite botanical designs in different colors.

there is a $10 discount on a complete knitter’s pocket set.
this discount is reflected in the price of the matching sets. if you make a mix & match complete set (
knitter’s pocket, tape measure, scissor slip, notions tin, and pocket notebook) the discount is automatically applied at check-out.
